WORK EXPERIENCE
 

1971-1976       A E Hadley Ltd.  Limberline Spur, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO3 5JR
 Apprentice carpenter and joiner. I received first class hands on training both in the joiners shop and on site.  I was encouraged by my mentor to leave at the end of my apprenticeship to gain a broader experience. 

1976-1989       Fosters Shopfitter’s (Southern) Limited, Havant, Hampshire.
 I was employed as a fixer and was promoted to foreman after 2 months. Over my time with Fosters I progressed through Setting Out, Estimating and Contracts Management and was made a Director in 1986. In 1989 Fosters switched its core activity from Shopfitting to speculative and overseas development. I chose to resign to continue my career in the Industry I felt best qualified for. 

1989-1995       Overspill Joinery Ltd. Rodney Road Portsmouth. AKA OSJ. Ltd
 .Owner and Managing Director.  Overspill Joinery was set up to service the Shopfitting industry with specialised joinery manufacture when internal resources were overstretched. I was responsible for the overall running of the business including, procurement of workload, estimating, setting out, purchasing materials, quality control and fiscal matters.  

1995-Present   AML Shopfitting Management Services 
Working independently I provide Setting Out and Contract Management to many industry renowned contractors. I have been involved in varying roles on many prestigious projects   

INTEREST
 

I play squash, badminton and golf. I also love to cook and regularly host dinner parties.
